Jungle Bird

Original recipe from Imbibe.

The jungle bird is among my favorite drinks, featuring blackstrap rum. My favorite is by far Cruzan Black Strap Rum, but it can be really difficult to find. In this version, I use Kraken Black, but Goslings Black Seal could also work.

1.5 oz Kraken Black
1.5 oz pineapple juice (fresh is best but I think the oasis one is okay in a pinch)
0.75 oz campari
0.5 oz lime juice
0.5 oz simple syrup

Vigorously shake with ice, it should get frothy. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.
